- Team empowerment and coaching: Act as a mentor and technical coach to engineering teams within CT, fostering a culture of innovation, autonomy, and technical excellence. Support teams in their growth by providing guidance, enabling best practices, and encouraging ownership of technical decisions.
- Influence and alignment: Partner with leadership across SYBO, contributing to technical forums, guilds, and initiatives. Ensure CT’s strategy aligns with overall company priorities.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Act as a technical advocate, ensuring clarity, feasibility, and alignment of Central Technology initiatives while fostering shared success through strong communication and collaboration.
- Thought leadership: Champion technical excellence, innovation, and scalability. Drive forward-looking strategies that empower game teams to succeed and shape the future of CT at SYBO.
Your Start at SYBO
In your first month: Build relationships with the CT teams, learn about existing tools and services, and understand workflows and technical challenges. Meet with game team stakeholders to understand their needs and priorities.
Within 3 months: Align on CT’s roadmap and strategy while identifying opportunities for improvement and collaboration. Build strong relationships across SYBO’s technical leadership community.
By your first twelve months: Lead the development and rollout of key technical initiatives. Establish CT as a trusted partner that enables game teams to deliver efficiently and effectively. Shape the technical strategy for the future, balancing centralization and decentralization as needed.
