QA Intern - Central Technology

SYBO is part of the Miniclip family and known for the widely popular game, Subway Surfers - the most downloaded mobile game in the world, with over four billion downloads. Located in the heart of Copenhagen, we aim to create playful moments that inspire our fans to care.

We are looking for an Intern QA Tester who will be working with our Central Technology team who focus on ensuring the stability, performance, and reliability of SYBO’s backend services and infrastructure.

We appreciate specialists and with your particular skill set, you will play a large part in forming the position and be a part of our continuous and rewarding adventure. Assist us in raising questions, thinking of creative solutions and taking initiative.

Your time at SYBO

In your ramp-up month

• Onboarding is crucial for ensuring that you are well-equipped to contribute effectively within your organization.

• Week 1: Orientation and Introduction to the Company

• Week 2: Understanding the QA Process

• Week 3: Practical Training

• Week 4: Project Integration and Other Topics

In your contributor months

• You will be part of the Central Technology - QA Team, responsible for supporting the CT teams in ensuring high quality releases of its services. You will learn how the team formulate test scenarios, write test cases and test scripts, execute these tests, report back results, find and raise bugs and ensure that the users have the best experience possible–from the back end side of things. The goal of the internship is to have a glance of what being a QA tester involves, the responsibility and the tasks that we do in our day to day to ensure we reach the quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Learn how to Formulate test scenarios and translate them into test cases and test scripts (Manual and automated).

• Develop the skills to Provide written reports on bugs, unwanted behaviors.

• Develop the skills Provide any feedback to the team regarding tools and services being used.

• Learning how to reproduce reported bugs from both the development team and customers.

• Execute regular testing on multiple platforms (Android, iOS) devices, and tools.

• Collaborate with the development team to ensure that quality standards are met.

• Working with the QA Lead the progress made, identified blockers to the day's objectives and risks for the product's quality.

Requirements

• Some coding skills, like JavaScript.

• Proficient critical and creative problem-solving abilities.

• A motivation for product success.

• Professional standard of written and verbal communication skills in English

• Skilled Organisational and time management skills

• Familiarity with the following is beneficial: concepts of API testing, Git, Git GUI, Unity.
